Album Review: Unknown Mortal Orchestra - II

This is a fantastic mix of psychedelic pop rock and 2010's reverb dream pop. This record has saved UMO's reputation for me. The last record was not interesting enough to keep me listening to the whole thing. This one had me contemplating many elements within the music on every track. The production is especially detailed. My favorite feature of this record is how well done the vocals are. The double tracks and filters come together wonderfully. Also some of the guitar effects and playing techniques are even reminiscent of Bradley Nowell on 40 Oz. To Freedom. Great job UMO, I applaud you.
